New Petzl Operator products for 2021

News

In addition to the new Petzl Professional products for 2021, Petzl are releasing some new products under their Operator universe. In layman’s terms, these are products aimed at the adventure park sector.

Petzl Swan Easyfit harness – Available mid-April 2021

The Petzl Swan is a full body harness designed with adventure parks in mind. The harness has colour-coded shoulders straps, which makes donning a lot easier. It also has a Petzl FAST LT PIN-LOCK automatic waist buckle at the rear which can only be unlocked using a special tool. This means that the user cannot inadvertently open the harness. You can choose from standard steel buckles or stainless steel buckles, depending on the environment the harness will be used in.

Petzl Trac Club Pulley – Available mid-June 2021

The new Trac Club has two aligned sheaves which provide excellent stability in operation thanks to the single row of ball-bearings. The two replaceable plastic ends (sold in packs of 2 or 10) are designed to make the pulley more durable. They also include neat karabiner parking grooves. The opening system allows the pulley to be easily installed on the cable, even with one hand. The bottom of the Trac Club is designed as a semi-permanent connection point for the Petzl Joko or new Petzl Aventex lanyards, therefore reducing the risk the two will be separated.

  • Single row of ball-bearings for increased stability
  • Replaceable plastic ends
  • Karabiner parking grooves
  • Semi-permanent lanyard connection
  • Sold individually or in packs of 5

The karabiner pivots when the device makes contact with the zip lines end brake, as a result, the Trac Guide remains in position. Like the new Trac Club, it also has replaceable plastic ends (sold in packs of 2 or 10) with karabiner parking grooves. However, it has a double row of ball-bearings resulting in better durability.

  • Double row of ball-bearings for increased durability
