Important information for Petzl Avao Bod Croll Fast and Top Croll harness users – Change of maillon orientation required

News

Petzl have just released a minor change to their technical information which requests that users of the Petzl Avao Bod Croll Fast harness and the Top Croll change the orientation of the delta (triangular) maillon connector so that the plastic ‘bar’ faces outwards. User feedback has indicated a very small risk that when the top section is in use but not loaded (such as when going over a paparet), that the maillon may interfere with the Croll.

By turning the maillon (quicklink) so that the bar is facing outwards (the gate will be on the left when you look from the front of the harness) this ensures that the maillon gate is well away from the Croll.
